Since the beginning of history, I believe, mankind has struggled with the question: Are we alone in the universe? I think that the plain answer to that question is an almost definite “no.” I do believe in aliens. However, I don’t believe in the little green men you see walking around in old cartoons! I think that alien life is quite different than our own. So it’s time to sit down and think of this – who else is there in the universe?
First of all, of course we aren’t alone in the universe! Think of it this way. How big is the universe? Huge, right? And in relation to that universe, how big is our earth? Infinitely tiny! So what are the chances that our tiny world is the only one that supports life? It doesn’t make sense! I think the chances of aliens existing are much larger than not. But how exactly are they different? I think that is another question entirely.
It makes sense to me that life on alien planets is quite different than our own. I think that most aliens are adapted to entirely different living conditions. For instance, an alien on a very distant planet could find a poisonous gas to us as crucial as we do oxygen. And I also think that they look quite different than we do, to an extent that we can’t even imagine! We may find life on another planet but we would probably overlook it because it is so different from life as we recognize it. Long story short – aliens are so different, we can’t even recognize or comprehend it.
That’s about it. I’m glad I was able to share my beliefs of alien life with all of you. But my own believes aside, what are yours? Do you believe in aliens? If so, how do you think they would look, act, and live? Think of these questions and answer them in the comments. I love to hear from you!
